I was asked to rotoscope 6 seconds (81 frames) of Jay- Z's 99 problems, music video that I chose from a selection of 6 second segments. I do not own the song used but I do own the illustrations that are seen in this video. This was not used for marketing or advertising purposes. The rest of the video was completed by my class mates. This process was done through Adobe Photoshop. I simply imported the given segment of 6 seconds into a timeline, made an new video layer and drew my own illustrations over the top of the visible video. The video of course was not allowed therefore I had to illustrate my own abstract background. I chose to illustrate in an abstract style because abstract is out of my comfort zone of drawing styles and I wanted to try something new to expand my illustration styles further.
